Raising The Bar with Columbia Care

Scroll down to content

Founded in 2012, Columbia Care has become the largest fully-integrated multi-state medical cannabis operator in the U.S. I had the pleasure of speaking with Mary Alice Miller, Chief Legal Officer for Columbia Care and certified woman boss in the cannabis space. One of the biggest takeaways from our conversation to me was not limiting yourself. There is too much room for individuals to enter the cannabis space doing what they already love and are familiar with, so doing your research and highlighting how the industry could use your skills is a sure fire way to score you the job of your dreams.

Columbia Care by far has the biggest portfolio of licenses for the production and sale of medical cannabis in the U.S., including limited license jurisdictions, such as New York, Florida and Virginia. They are the premier leader in the U.S. medical cannabis market and conduct over 50,000 successful patient transactions per month. Holding 33 licenses across 13 states, they provide access to over 50% of the U.S. population.

Keeping true to their focus on leadership, Columbia Care also offers Columbia Care at Home™, a program designed to eliminate barriers to product access by offering home delivery services and online pharmacist to approved recipients. The program is currently running in New York and Florida, but is expected to be introduced in Arizona, Massachusetts, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and California in the coming months.

Working in collaboration with some of the most renowned and innovative teaching hospitals and medical centers in the world, Columbia Care is a patient-centered healthcare company setting the standard for compassion, professionalism, quality, caring and innovation for a rapidly expanding new industry.
